OEichenlaubAbout Us…

My name is Bev Eichenlaub, and I am a schoolteacher.  I teach

keyboarding and computer applications to 6th, 7th and 8th graders at the

Northwest Middle School in McDermott, Ohio.  I've been teaching for 32 years, and I could retire, but I'm just not ready yet.  I just celebrated my 54th  birthday on July 25th.  Maybe that explains all the aches and pains!  Hahaha!  I tried to alleviate those pains, especially in my knees, by having double knee replacement surgery on October 11, 2006.  I'm on the mend now, and things look a much brighter than they did before.

My husband is Ray Eichenlaub, and he works for USEC in Piketon, Ohio.  He loves to do woodworking, build things, and he will trade anything.  He also does small backhoe/excavator work.  He is licensed by the State of Ohio to install septic tanks.  Check out his page HERE.  He also trades things -- check his "Trader Ray" page and see if he has anything available.  You never know about him!  He turned 50 last December.  Some boys never grow up!

Ray built all these for me.  He's planning to build me a Gazebo someday.

Both of us are animal lovers, so we thought “what better way to ease into retirement than to work with what you love…animals…specifically dogs”.    We began raising Blue Heelers in about 1999.  In 2004, we bought our first Chihuahua, and have been hooked on them ever since.  Now we have also fallen in love with Pomeranians, so we plan to raise a litter or two.

Our kennel is located in southern Ohio about 85 miles south of Columbus, Ohio, and 100 miles east of Cincinnati, Ohio, near the city of Portsmouth in Scioto County in a beautiful country setting surrounded by state forest land…see for yourself…
